It all started with 50 hours on a loo

Actually, it started when we learned billions of people don’t have access to clean water or basic sanitation. That’s when we created our unique business model – 50% of profits donated to help ensure everyone can access clean water and a toilet.

But to crowdfund our first production run, our CEO Simon did sit on a toilet for 50 hours until we successfully reached our funding goal. So, in a way, it did start there too.  Since then, we’ve made a whole lot of eco toilet paper, added new products, donated almost £10 million, and grown our community of people passionate about making the world a better place. Wooo!

We like to wrap our rolls to keep them moisture-free and hygienic. But the wrappers also make our rolls stand out, and that’s a super powerful tool for spreading the word about our mission.  Is this toilet paper expensive?

Let’s talk about toilet paper maths! Most TP brands measure by cost per roll (not per sheet), so they can make single-length rolls with fewer sheets. But because we make double-length rolls (at least 370 sheets), our toilet paper may seem a bit more expensive, but in reality, we’re about on par (and in some cases up to 30% cheaper than big brands like Andrex).
